こちらの作品は息子の真人氏の製作。

• 1946年：大分県日田市に生まれる
• 1964年：ギター製作を志し、名匠・河野賢氏に師事
• 1972年：「横尾ギター工房」を設立し、独立 特色：カシュー塗装による美しい仕上げ、柔らかく甘い高音と深みのある低音が特徴
• 2023年1月：逝去
• 現在：作品は多くのギタリストに愛奏されており、息子の真人氏が、その志を受け継ぎ製作を続けている

This particular piece is crafted by Mahito Yokoo, the son of Shunsuke Yokoo.

Shunsuke Yokoo

• 1946: Born in Hita City, Oita Prefecture, Japan
• 1964: Began pursuing guitar making, apprenticing under the renowned master luthier Masaru Kohno
• 1972: Established his own workshop, "Yokoo Guitar Studio," and became an independent luthier
• Characteristics: Known for his beautiful cashew lacquer finish, with a signature sound featuring sweet, mellow trebles and rich, resonant bass tones
• January 2023: Passed away
• Present: His guitars continue to be cherished by many guitarists, with his son, Makoto Yokoo, faithfully carrying on his legacy and craftsmanship
